Webflow has launched Webflow Cloud, a major platform expansion that enables teams to host and deploy full-stack web applications natively within the Webflow ecosystem. This innovation bridges the gap between websites and web apps, allowing businesses to run dynamic apps, backend logic, and integrated experiences seamlessly alongside their websites—without requiring separate hosting or disjointed workflows.

With Webflow Cloud, marketing, content, and engineering teams can collaborate within a single platform. The launch marks Webflow’s transformation from a visual development tool into a robust foundation for modern, dynamic digital experiences.

Today’s users expect frictionless, branded digital journeys—from product pages to onboarding flows. Webflow Cloud empowers teams to meet this demand by enabling the creation of scalable, interactive web applications without compromising design quality or speed.

“Webflow Cloud redefines what teams can accomplish with Webflow,” said Rachel Wolan, Chief Product Officer at Webflow. “By combining visual development with full-stack capabilities, we’re giving teams the power to move faster, stay on-brand, and deliver dynamic web experiences without compromise.”

Unlike platforms that center around a single JavaScript framework, Webflow Cloud is built to support a broad range of frameworks and libraries, starting with the Next.js and Astro ecosystems, providing developers with flexibility while retaining Webflow’s performance and visual design strengths.

One Platform for the Entire Web Experience

Webflow Cloud simplifies technical workflows by enabling developers to deploy full-stack apps alongside their Webflow sites. Capabilities include:

  • Support for frameworks like Next.js and Astro, with more to follow
  • Integrated hosting—no need for external infrastructure
  • Global performance with Cloudflare CDN, 99.99% uptime, and HTTP/2 and HTTP/3 support
  • Use of DevLink to share components between websites and apps for cohesive branding
  • Enhanced capabilities for programmatic SEO, dynamic content marketing, and personalized experiences

Non-technical teams benefit from more scalable and customized web experiences, while agencies and certified partners gain tools to deliver high-performance, brand-consistent client solutions—all within Webflow.

“Webflow Cloud brings dynamic web apps and websites together, powered by Cloudflare’s global network,” said Dane Knecht, CTO of Cloudflare. “Together with Workers, Webflow is making personalized, scalable digital experiences accessible to more teams than ever.”

Rob Baldwin, CTO of TurboHome, shared, “Webflow Cloud enables us to deliver a truly personalized home-buying experience by integrating over 200,000 MLS listings through our Next.js app, hosted seamlessly with our Webflow site. Our engineering and marketing teams now work from the same system, saving time, eliminating complexity, and ensuring brand consistency.”

Webflow Cloud offers developers a streamlined way to support cross-functional teams without juggling multiple infrastructures. By merging content management, front-end design, and full-stack development in a single platform, Webflow cements its position as a leading Website Experience Platform (WXP) for the future of digital experiences.

Availability

Webflow Cloud is currently in private beta with support for JavaScript and React ecosystems, including Next.js and Astro. Webflow plans to expand framework compatibility over time, aiming to provide a fully framework-agnostic platform. General availability is expected later this year.
