Viant Technology Inc. (NASDAQ: DSP), a leader in CTV and AI-powered programmatic advertising, has appointed Craig Abrahams to its board of directors, effective August 10, 2026. Abrahams brings more than 25 years of technology and digital media experience, including his role guiding Playtika through a $4.4 billion sale and subsequent IPO.
A New Independent Director
Viant Technology, an exclusively buy-side, AI-powered advertising platform built for CTV, announced the addition of Craig Abrahams as an independent board member. Tim Vanderhook, CEO and Co-Founder of Viant, said Abrahams' business acumen and experience scaling companies organically and through strategic M&A will be instrumental as the company enters a new phase of accelerated growth.
From Caesars Interactive to Playtika
Abrahams co-founded Caesars Interactive Entertainment, a digital gaming subsidiary of Caesars Entertainment, where he orchestrated the acquisition of mobile gaming company Playtika. He then led Playtika as President and CFO, steering its acquisition strategy through to a $4.4 billion sale in 2016 — one of the largest mobile gaming transactions of the decade — followed by the company's IPO in 2021.
Over 15 years at the organization, spanning hypergrowth and more than 12 acquisitions, Abrahams helped build Playtika into a global business with games played by hundreds of millions of people worldwide. Earlier in his career, he held strategic planning and investment banking roles at The Walt Disney Company and Bear, Stearns & Co., and holds a finance degree from Indiana University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
"The advertising industry is at an inflection point, and Viant has built something special that meets the moment with real AI capability and a depth of proprietary data"— Craig Abrahams, Incoming Board Member, Viant Technology
