As a leader, how do you approach cybersecurity in the workplace?
Pandya: Cybersecurity is not just an IT issue—it’s a business priority. I believe in a proactive approach that includes:
- Implementing robust security protocols such as firewalls, encryption, and multi-factor authentication (MFA)
- Conducting regular vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks
- Ensuring compliance with standards like GDPR, ISO 27001, or NIST frameworks
No security system is effective if employees are unaware of risks. I advocate for regular cybersecurity training to prevent phishing, social engineering, and malware attacks.
How do you envision the future of business in the age of AI and new-age technology? What is your global perspective by 2030?
Pandya: By 2030, AI and emerging technologies will fundamentally redefine business landscapes, making organizations more autonomous, intelligent, and adaptive.
AI will become more interactive, personal, and capable of reasoning. Automation will shift job markets, but new roles will emerge in AI supervision and creative domains.
The key challenge is ensuring AI benefits humanity. Misuse could lead to data breaches, misinformation, and inequality. Governments must enforce transparency, safety, and ethical standards for AI.
How do you see AI and human workers collaborating across sectors?
Pandya: AI is a powerful tool that can automate tasks, enhance efficiency, and assist in decision-making. However, it won’t replace humans. Instead, it will complement human abilities, taking over repetitive tasks so people can focus on creativity, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
Do you have any advice for future leaders in IT solutions?
Pandya: The future of business will be AI-driven, sustainable, and decentralized. Organizations that embrace innovation, adapt to technological changes, and prioritize sustainability will lead the next decade. Remember, IT is about people as much as technology. Be an approachable leader who listens, supports, and empowers teams.
