Presentation titled “The Journey of a Maven” by keynote speaker, Marketing Maven Founder and California Lutheran University (CLU) alumna, Lindsey Carnett, will explore entrepreneurship, marketing strategy, and the power of research.
Author, speaker, board director, small business advocate, and marketing thought leader Lindsey Carnett, CEO and President of Marketing Maven, will return to her alma mater, California Lutheran University, to deliver the keynote address on Thursday, November 20, 2025. The event is co-hosted by the CLU Women in Business Club and the campus chapter of the American Marketing Association, and will take place from 6:30–7:30 p.m. in Room HUM 119 of the Soiland Humanities Center.
The event, titled “The Journey of a Maven”, will feature a keynote presentation in which Carnett shares her personal and professional journey—from her days as a CLU student to founding and leading a bicoastal, award-winning marketing and public relations agency. In addition to tracing her entrepreneurial path, Carnett will provide insights into research-driven marketing and PR strategy, emphasizing the importance of consumer data and methods to build impactful campaigns in today’s digital-first business landscape.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Lindsey back to campus,” said Women in Business Club President Julia Krastev. “As a successful woman in business and a Cal Lutheran alumna, she’s a role model for our members and an example of what’s possible when you combine ambition, resilience, and data-driven decision making.”
