AdvancedMD, a leading provider of cloud-based healthcare software for independent medical practices, has appointed Stephanie Cho as its new Chief Marketing Officer. Alongside the hire, the company unveiled Move Care Forward — a new brand platform built on a singular commitment: helping independent practices spend less time on administrative burden and more time on patient care.
The Problem Move Care Forward Is Built to Solve
Move Care Forward is the direct result of deep research into the realities facing independent ambulatory care practices today. AdvancedMD identified that the single biggest barrier to growth for these practices is not clinical complexity — it is everyday administrative friction.
Chasing reimbursements, managing claims, working through denials, and handling after-hours charting drain the time and energy that should go directly to patients. Move Care Forward names that problem head-on and commits AdvancedMD to solving it through an integrated platform — spanning practice management, EHR, revenue cycle management, and patient engagement — that addresses these challenges at the source.
"Every independent practice leader I talk to is dealing with the same equation: rising costs, tighter margins, and a team that's exhausted from doing work that has little to do with patient care. Move Care Forward is our commitment to keep building for the parts of the day that matter most to the people running these practices."— Stephanie Cho, Chief Marketing Officer, AdvancedMD
Stephanie Cho's Background and What She Brings to AdvancedMD
Cho joins AdvancedMD from SimplePractice, where as Vice President of Marketing she led the full customer marketing organization for the mental health SaaS platform. In that role she architected the company's payments monetization strategy, spearheaded the go-to-market for a managed billing service acquisition, and drove a full product packaging and pricing overhaul — each initiative delivering multi-million dollar revenue impact.
Prior to SimplePractice, she led product marketing for the QuickBooks services portfolio at Intuit, repositioning its online payroll lineup and leading go-to-market for the QuickBooks Banking portfolio. She has also held marketing leadership roles at Wells Fargo and American Express. Cho holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
"Stephanie understands the independent practice community, and her product-led growth background is exactly right for where we're headed. She's the right leader to make sure every practice in ambulatory care knows what AdvancedMD can do for them — and that Move Care Forward isn't a tagline, it's how we operate."— Amanda Sharp, CEO, AdvancedMD
