Reputation Announces the 2026 800 and 900 Award Winners — Honouring the Businesses That Set the Gold Standard for Customer Experience and Reputation Performance
Earned by achieving a proprietary Reputation Score of 800 or 900 or higher across review sentiment, social engagement, business listing accuracy, and search visibility, the 2026 awards recognise the location-level businesses proving that listening to customers — and acting on what they say — is the most durable competitive advantage in any local market.

Reputation, the global leader in reputation experience management, has announced the recipients of its 2026 800 Award and 900 Award — recognising business locations worldwide that have achieved exceptional Reputation Scores through a sustained, year-round commitment to collecting, understanding, and acting on customer feedback. Award rankings for both North America and international markets are available at reputation.com/800-900-awards.
What the Awards Recognise — and How They Are Earned
The 800 and 900 Awards are based on the Reputation Score — a proprietary composite measure that aggregates a business location's performance across review sentiment, review volume, spread, recency, response rate and length, brand reach and health, social engagement, business listing accuracy, and search impressions. The score provides a single, unified view of how a location is performing across every channel that shapes its reputation in the eyes of customers, covering not just what people say but how broadly it is heard, how recently, and how consistently the business engages in response.
Scores are aggregated at each location's quarter-end readings — March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31, 2025 — with the final qualifying score being either the year-end reading or the quarterly average, whichever is higher. A location must have a Reputation Score on December 31, 2025 to be eligible for the 2026 award cycle.
Achieving a score of 800 or above earns a business location the 800 Award — a recognition that it is consistently listening and responding to customer feedback across all channels and is actively winning in its local market. Reaching 900 or above earns the elite 900 Award — reserved for the very best of the best, the locations that have moved beyond traditional voice-of-the-customer strategies to achieve a measurable brand reputation advantage.
"In today's marketplace it is imperative to always know what your customers are saying about you, and always take action based on that feedback. We know that locations that consistently have a Reputation Score of 800 or higher are winning in their local markets. And as consumers have become even savvier, locations achieving 900 or above are standing out even further amongst the crowd."

From 15,000 to 47,000+ Qualifying Locations — A Programme That Has Grown With the Industry
Since the 800 Award's inception in 2021, the programme has grown dramatically — from recognising around 15,000 business locations in its first cycles to now qualifying more than 47,000 locations globally. That growth reflects both the increasing adoption of the Reputation platform and a broader shift in how businesses across healthcare, automotive, real estate, hospitality, retail, financial services, and senior care are approaching customer experience: as a strategic, data-driven discipline rather than a reactive function.
The 900 Award, introduced in 2025, raises the bar even further. In the award's inaugural year, only 0.8% of all Reputation-powered locations — the very top performers across the entire platform — earned a place in the exclusive 900 Club. This exclusivity is deliberate: the 900 Award is not a volume recognition but a signal of genuine best-in-class customer experience performance, earned through consistent, platform-wide excellence across every metric the Reputation Score captures.
The Platform Behind the Score: AI-Native Reputation Intelligence
The awards are powered by the Reputation platform — an AI-native system that turns reviews, listings, surveys, and social signals into actionable intelligence. Built for the AI era, the platform is designed to give local teams clear, prioritised actions derived from customer feedback, while providing enterprise leaders with the oversight needed to measure impact and drive accountability across every location at scale.
Key platform capabilities include Reputation IQ — which enables natural language queries across the full breadth of a business's reputation data with no dashboard navigation required — alongside competitive insights, listing and local SEO management, review and survey tools, and social engagement management. Together, these capabilities ensure that the intelligence gathered from customer feedback does not simply sit in reports but drives concrete operational actions at the location level where reputation is won or lost.
The 2026 award cycle also arrives at a moment when AI is reshaping how customers discover local businesses. With an estimated 50% of buyers now turning to AI tools rather than traditional search, businesses that control and optimise the signals that inform AI-generated answers — accurate listings, consistent review responses, strong engagement signals — have a material advantage in visibility and consideration. The Reputation Score, by design, captures these signals directly.
