Adams Outdoor Expands Pennsylvania Presence with Times Shamrock Outdoor Acquisition

Adams Outdoor Advertising has announced the acquisition of billboard inventory from Times Shamrock Outdoor, significantly boosting its footprint in the Eastern Pennsylvania market. The deal adds 24 static bulletins and 25 digital bulletins to Adams’ portfolio, reinforcing its strategic growth during a period of rapid expansion.

This acquisition enhances Adams' reach throughout Lackawanna and Luzerne Counties, including major cities like Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, and Hazleton. With strategic placements along key travel corridors such as Interstate 81 and Route 309, the expansion offers advertisers increased visibility and broader market access in high-traffic areas.

Times Shamrock Outdoor, a division of Times-Shamrock Communications, has been a respected provider of outdoor advertising solutions in Northeastern Pennsylvania, known for its deep community ties and localized service.

“By expanding our inventory in Lackawanna and Luzerne Counties, we’re creating more opportunities for brands to connect with their audiences,” said Rob Shilling, General Manager of Adams Outdoor Advertising Eastern PA. “We’re not just adding locations—we’re increasing the strategic value we deliver to our advertisers every day and filling in desirable gaps in our market area.”

Adams also credited the successful execution of the deal to Max Drachman of Drachman M&A Co., commending his professionalism and expertise throughout the transaction process.

This acquisition marks the sixth for Adams Outdoor in just eight months, underscoring the company’s aggressive growth strategy and continued investment in high-potential markets. By integrating both traditional and digital out-of-home (OOH) solutions, Adams is solidifying its market leadership through smart placements and deep local expertise.
